Mirza Alijan’s Bauli
Mirza Alijan’s Bauli (water tank), built by Mirza Ali Jan, the Nawab of Narnaul, during the reign of Emperor Akbar, is located to the northwest of Narnaul town. The main structure of the baoli features a large arched gateway, which supports a ‘Takhat’ (platform) and is crowned with a rectangular pillared ‘Chhatri’ (Kiosk). The Chhatri is adorned with decorative elements and rests on eight grey stone pillars arranged in rows that open in all directions. Below the Chhatri, there is a balcony accessible via staircases. The Takhat is positioned atop the main arched entrance of the baoli. To the south, the arched opening leads to the three-story baoli, which is further connected to a well.
