Kozhikode District

Kozhikode stands out as one of the 14 districts in the state of Kerala, India. Commonly known as Calicut, this coastal district lies in the northern part of Kerala. To the north, Kannur and Wayanad districts border it, while Malappuram district lies to the south, and the Arabian Sea stretches along its western edge. Spanning an area of approximately 2,345 square kilometers, Kozhikode showcases diverse landscapes, including beaches, backwaters, and hilly regions, making it a unique and picturesque destination.

Kozhikode boasts a rich historical legacy as a major trading hub during ancient and medieval times.
