The best time to visit is during the Sangken Poi festival, celebrated in April, when the area is particularly vibrant. The Monastery also features a library that holds a rich collection of ancient manuscripts and valuable literary works. A treasure trove for historians, the library includes books written in ancient Pali, Tai Ahom, and several other languages.
