The Chaneti Buddhist Stupa, a monument dating back to the 3rd century BC, is protected by the Government of India. It is situated in the Yamunanagar district of Haryana, approximately three kilometers east of Jagadhri and about three kilometers northwest of the Sugh archaeological site. The stupa is also mentioned by the famous traveler Hiuen Tsang.
The stupa has a hemispherical shape and is constructed from baked bricks arranged in concentric layers.
