Dhamtan Sahib, located about 10 kilometers east of Narwana on the Narwana-Tohana road in Tehsil Narwana, is derived from the term “Dharamsthan,” meaning a sacred place. It is believed to have been the ashram of Rishi Valmiki and the site where Lord Rama performed the Asvamedha Yagya. Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth Sikh Guru, stopped here on his way to Delhi, and a fort-like Gurudwara was constructed in his honor. Additionally, there is another Gurudwara known as Manji Sahib at the site.
