Mr. Lok Bandhu was born in Haryana, and his schooling was completed at DAV School, Narnaul. Afterward, he pursued B.Sc. studies and later chose to complete an MBA from the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi. His educational background provided him with both technical knowledge and managerial understanding. Moreover, his discipline and dedication during academic years built the foundation for his later career.

Civil Services Journey

Initially, Lok Bandhu attempted the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2013. At that time, he was selected for the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS). However, he was not satisfied with this rank. Therefore, he appeared again in 2014, and success was finally achieved when he secured a better rank, which led to his induction into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). His achievement inspired many youngsters in his region. Furthermore, his journey reflected determination, patience, and continuous self-improvement.

Career Path

Before becoming the District Collector of Ajmer, he served in several important postings. He worked in Sri Ganganagar, Udaipur, and Hanumangarh districts. In these areas, different schemes were implemented effectively under his leadership. Additionally, his reputation grew because citizens observed honest and active administration. Finally, in September 2024, he was appointed as District Collector and District Magistrate of Ajmer. His new responsibility was welcomed warmly by the local population.

Priorities in Ajmer

After assuming office, certain goals were set as priorities. Government welfare schemes were to be implemented across rural and urban areas. Moreover, he began addressing water-logging and drainage problems, which troubled residents during heavy rains. He also organized night chaupals in villages, where issues of electricity, drinking water, and health were heard directly. Meanwhile, his office was involved in resolving emergencies, such as the gas leakage incident in Byawar, where instructions for medical treatment were immediately given. In addition, a strict campaign was run against illegal encroachments near the famous Ajmer Dargah. Indeed, these actions displayed his strong and people-oriented governance.

His leadership style is admired because he prefers direct communication with citizens. Similarly, regular field visits are conducted to check ongoing projects. Transparency and efficiency are emphasized, while public participation is always encouraged. As a result, trust in administration has been strengthened.
