Rewari district is one of the 22 districts in Haryana, India. The state established it on 1 November 1989 after carving it out of Gurgaon district. Historically, It was a significant market town in medieval times. Situated in southern Haryana, it is the second least populous district in the state as of 2011, following Panchkula.
Early History
