Mr. Arjun Pandian, IAS
Shri Arjun Pandian IAS was appointed as the District Collector of Thrissur on July 19, 2024. He is the 47th person to hold this position in the district. A 2017 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer, Shri Pandian has previously served in several key roles, including Chief Secretary’s Staff Officer and Labour Commissioner. He has also held significant positions such as Assistant Collector of Kannur, Sub Collector of Ottapalam and Mananthavadi, Nodal Officer for Attappadi, Development Commissioner for Idukki, Additional District Magistrate at Sabarimala, Joint Commissioner of the Revenue Department, Secretary of the State Land Board, Director of Social Voluntary Sena, Secretary of the Housing Board, and Director of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department.
