Asthal Bohar, commonly referred to as Bohar, is a village located on the outskirts of Rohtak city in Haryana’s Rohtak District, India. The term “Asthal” translates to Bairagi Monastery. The monastery at Asthal Bohar has yielded images associated with Jainism, Nath Shaivism, and Brahminism. Notably, a statue of Parshvanatha, the 23rd Jain tirthankara, dating back to the 7th century AD, was discovered in the village.
