Crocodile Breeding Centers in India
Bhor Saidan-Crocodile Farm is one of four crocodile breeding centers in India. Among them, the Madras Crocodile Bank Trust, which breeds all three native species of crocodiles (mugger, gharial, and saltwater crocodile), and the Kukrail Gharial Rehabilitation Centre in Lucknow (focused on breeding gharials) are recognized as the most successful by the National Geographic Society. Another prominent center is the Manjira Wildlife Sanctuary.
