Jatayu Earth’s Center, also known as Jatayu Nature Park or Jatayu Rock, is a renowned tourism destination in Chadayamangalam, Kollam district, Kerala. Positioned at an elevation of 350 meters (1,200 feet) above sea level, the park is famous for housing the world’s largest bird sculpture, depicting the mythical Jatayu from the Ramayana.

The centerpiece of the park is the magnificent Jatayu sculpture, measuring 200 feet (61 meters) in length, 150 feet (46 meters) in width, and 70 feet (21 meters) in height. This architectural marvel, crafted by sculptor Rajiv Anchal, covers a floor area of 15,000 square feet (1,400 square meters), making it a globally recognized landmark.

Jatayu Earth’s Center operates under a public-private partnership model using the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) scheme. This initiative represents a pioneering effort in Kerala’s tourism industry, setting a precedent for future projects.
